What others say about Jeremy |
|
|
Jeremy and I have worked closely together in 2010 with six CEO's and their
Leadership Teams in a Leadership programme sponsored by Enterprise Ireland..
Jeremy's role was that of Business Advisor and mine as Executive
Coach. I have been most impressed with Jeremy's ability to achieve a
phenomenal amount of breakthroughs with the CEO's and their teams in a very
short timeframe. He has the ability to get to the heart of matters, both
strategically and in team dynamics, and to do so in a way that brings the
entire team along. As a veteran of five such programmes, I can honestly say
that the group I have shared with Jeremy has made significantly more
progress than former groups, and I attribute a large part of that to
Jeremy's unique style and expertise. He breaks through log jams, puts the
hard issues on the table, recognizes expertise when he sees it, and
leverages it to great effect. As a presenter and as a consultant, Jeremy
brings practical, "been there and done that" wisdom to the table with
humility, humor, and authentic dedication to what is best for the client.

“Jeremy’s background
in industry, both in the UK and the United States, speaks volumes
for his capabilities as a successful business leader. I have
known Jeremy as a member of the Management Committee of the
Business and the Environment Programme. Jeremy has shown himself
to be knowledgeable, thoughtful, creative and constructive.
His approach to business is clearly underpinned by a commitment
to what people can achieve through teamwork and effective leadership.”

“I have known Jeremy Pelczer for four years
and have followed his career as CEO of American Water, Thames
Water and now as an independent coach and mentor. Jeremy has
been an invited speaker on a number of executive education programmes
I have directed. At each session where Jeremy presents his experiences,
the participants have been delighted at the insights he has
shared. Above all, Jeremy is a role model for 21st century leadership
combining an ability to empathise with people but also make
the hard decisions. He also has the capacity to humanise audiences
and the people around him, which is a testament to his capacity
to work the emotional side of business with authenticity and
integrity. After each session he has given, people have approached
me and said that they would work for him without hesitation,
and it’s usually because they see in Jeremy an honest
intelligent man with a keen interest in the development of people.”

“Jeremy is not ‘your standard CEO’.
And thank God for that. This is an age that demands very different
leadership qualities, listening as much as lecturing, convening
and facilitating as much as directing, balancing often conflicting
demands and pressures rather than simply defaulting to short-term
profit maximisation. If it is access to experience and insights
of that kind that you are seeking, then Jeremy has a wealth
of them and a lot more besides.” Jonathon
Porritt Founder Director, Forum for the Future |

“As I look back on my personal career journey
from a functional role to CEO of a large corporation I am constantly
thankful for the helping hand of a few people who helped me
get there. One of those people is Jeremy Pelczer. As coach,
facilitator and trusted confidant, Jeremy has helped me realise
my potential. His authentic leadership and selfless advice are
hallmarks of his management style which were a constant over
the 10 years we worked together.” Jim
McGivern Chair, Sigma International Group Inc |

“I am delighted
to provide a personal perspective of Jeremy Pelczer. In my twenty
years of executive education, it is Jeremy who has most impressed
me for the depth and the balance of both commercial and emotional
intelligence. Having worked with him for ten years I have seen
firsthand his mastery of all financial and operational measures
and details, and his rare ability to understand the diverse
perspectives and experiences of other stakeholders and individuals
in order to lead change effectively. In his career in Thames
Water he led teams to deliver results through high growth and
low growth periods, consistently able to communicate his message
with clarity and empathy, even across cultural boundaries. Apart
from his managerial skills, Jeremy Pelczer is also a humble
man of impeccable character. He will make an outstanding mentor,
advisor and coach.”
